About
TowerPocket started as a group chat where a handful of us kept swapping screenshots of wave counters and lane layouts. At some point we realised we were writing longer messages than most published reviews, so we moved everything onto one site. Nothing here is copied from a press kit — every word comes from someone who installed the game and played it.
We focus on strategy and tower defence because those genres reward patience, and patience is exactly what most quick reviews skip. A game can look brilliant in a thirty-second clip and fall apart by the tenth wave. We try to reach that tenth wave before we say anything.
Games get picked in two ways. Sometimes readers point us toward something odd they found in the store, sometimes we go digging ourselves during quiet evenings. We don't chase only the top charts — smaller titles often surprise us more.
We're a small team, we pay for our own downloads, and we'd rather be slow and honest than fast and wrong. If a game bores us, we'll tell you why instead of pretending.
