Ironvale Siege
★★★★★ 4.7
Ironvale Siege is the kind of strategy game that eats an evening without you noticing. You build a settlement by day and defend it at night, and the two halves feed each other constantly. Overbuild your walls and you starve your economy; ignore defence and you lose it all in one bad raid.
The map is small on purpose, which forces tight decisions. There's no room to sprawl, so you're always weighing whether a tile becomes farmland or a watchtower. The AI raids adapt to your weak side, so lazy symmetric layouts get punished fast.
It runs well on modest phones and doesn't nag you to come back with notifications. That alone earns it points. If you like planning more than clicking, this is an easy recommendation.
